In the summer of 2008, as a newly hired associate at Veterinary Medical Center, I struggled with the typical challenges that all new associates face. I didn’t feel as sure of myself as I wanted. The thought of surgery was extremely stressful and trying to fit in and build a relationship with the current clients as the new kid on the block was a constant source of anxiety.
Through Michael’s consistent coaching and Dean’s thoughtful mentoring I’ve become very comfortable and confident in my work as a Veterinarian. I’ve built a very loyal following of ideal clients and see myself as a productive member of the VMC team!

MICHAEL LINARDI, PCC,MS
Having held management positions for several Fortune 500 companies including Johnson and Johnson, General Motors and General Dynamics, he utilized strong organizational, communication and listening skills to reach his objectives. A student of leadership and management he enjoys the opportunity to partner with individuals and businesses committed to reaching new heights in their personal and professional lives. In the corporate setting he utilizes his business background in coaching managers, their direct reports and teams to identify: what’s working well, what’s not working well and define a new path to move them forward to where they want to be.
A graduate of American University’s Health Fitness Management Masters program, Michael did his under graduate work at Salisbury State University. He also completed his studies in coaching from Coach University and is certified as a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation. Michael is based on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
DEAN TYSON, DVM
Growing up on a dairy farm, he knew at the age of five that he wanted to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine. He’s been actively practicing Veterinary Medicine since 1988 and co-owner of the Veterinary Medical Center, a successful, AHAA accredited, multi-doctor mixed animal practice in Easton, Maryland.
A 1988 graduate of Virginia Tech School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr Tyson enjoys sharing his experience and mentoring young associates to excel in veterinary medicine.
He serves on the board of directors for the Talbot County Humane Society and he works diligently to uphold their mission. He has also served in a leadership capacity on several other committees and actively volunteers’ time and resources to several non-profit organizations.
Dr. Tyson embraces the human animal bond and feels very blessed to help others find and share incredible success.
